| I can do this, right? I'm pretty sure I can, but somedays, being in charge involves a lot more than I realized it would. Oh well, as long as I can still get Cow time in and figure out when to schedule in time for me and my friends, it doesn't matter too much if I don't have the free time I would like...I guess we'll have lots of free time when I'm with all of my friends in some bizarre retirement home. Dominoes, anyone? I got so good at Dominoes when I volunteered at a nursing home but I'm not sure now if I could teach it or play it very well. If you see me around, hold my hand. I've been in a handholding mood lately. Thank goodness I have touchy-feely friends. What would I do otherwise? | | |
| you know, sometimes I feel like our parents just get the biggest giggles out of telling us to do or think things. but then again.... I think mine know pretty damn much. (most of the time) | | |
| I'm back by popular demand.
I took quite a hiatus when I was in Peru. I didn't really have too much time for the blog thing since I was writing really long e-mails and going out and such. But now that I am in back in school, I feel like I should update. So here I am now, updating, and at such a normal time, 1:15am. Just about normal, huh? I'm sitting here in my new townhouse with my new roommates and new challenges for the year ahead. I'm sitting in a very disorganized room right now, but that will hopefully change this weekend when I get a chance to breathe. So...the things I hope to accomplish this year...
1. Create a strong Executive Board for SAB. 2. Live a drama free year. 3. Come up with more egg metaphors with Erin. 4. Maintain friendships from last year. 5. Build up past friendships with people that are still here at the Rock. 6. Graduate. 7. "Learn to live with what I am." 8. Not injur myself anymore. 9. Bake something for Fr. Curran with Erin. 10. Play the piano and guitar more often. 11. Be happy with my surroundings and whatever my future plans might be...
Other than that, I've just really been enjoying hanging out with my new roommate who makes fun of me a lot as well as that girl named Cindy. Yeah, she's pretty cool too.
| Man, oh man...not too much longer and I'll be in Peru! PERU! That's so crazy. I'm very very excited about going, but, before I do, I will be visiting as many friends and family members that I can. It's been a pretty good summer so far. Nothing too exciting going on, good trips to the zoo, good talks on the phone with friends, and spending time with the family top the list. I got a new digital camera, which I'm super pumped about. Here's a pic of my dog, Desi. that I took with my new camera. She's so pretty...
Anyways, if anyone that reads this is going to be in KC for the next few days, give me a call. I will be wandering around aimlessly.
